Brief Description

Over the years, there has been a concerted effort in Albania to engage religious communities as allies in the fight against domestic violence and harmful gender norms. In 2020, around 121 individuals (36 men and boys, 85 women and girls) from religious communities in the Elbasan district participated in seven public forums. These forums focused on gender equality and the role of religious communities in addressing harmful gender norms.
